Adoption

Also in case of an adoption that happens outside of the U.S., called intercountry adoption, the individual can obtain a visa, this also happens with orphans children by U.S. citizens.

IR-4 and IH-4 visas are used when adoption is initiated abroad but not finalized by the child’s entry, with IR-4 allowing temporary entry and U.S. adoption finalization for acquiring citizenship, and IH-4 designating entry for finalization and citizenship acquisition.

Diversity Visa
